I bought two of these rods on clearance and even though I paid nowhere near the $55 they retail for, these rods are worth every penny of that MSRP! I got these for a few dollars apiece and they are the BEST walleye rods I have ever used, and I have St. Croix and custom rods! They will also be great drop shot rods, but I bought them for jigging for walleyes. The small eyelets cast very well and the rod is very lightweight and sensitive! I paired mine with Piscifun Carbon-X 3000 spinning reels and 10# Spiderwire Stealth braid. For a 1/8 – 3/8 oz jig and plastic, these are unbeatable rods! Well worth the asking price and a steal if you can get one or two on sale or clearance!
